Tilo Ponder

Tilo has spent her career of over 25 years as a catalyst for dynamic and integrated media across all platforms, working with a range of corporate and entertainment clients such as; Sony, Warner Bros, Disney, Universal Studios and Fox Studios as well as top production companies such as Los Angeles based Digital Domain.


Tilo started her career working as a production assistant on numerous film and TV sets eventually moving to the advertising agency world as an Executive Producer where she worked for leading agencies in that capacity.  Her understanding  of effective storytelling served her well, as she spent many years helping some of the world’s biggest brands connect with target audiences across traditional and digital platforms.


Tilo serves as a Content Strategist and Media Specialist heading up all WGS business units.  She also specializes in getting to Planet Yogurt at Junction mall within 5 mins due to her Ninja driving

Cris Blyth

Cris is a director of commercials, TV and documentaries, as well as an animator, editor and Visual Effects Director.

With a career of over 20 years and now considered an industry pioneer, Cris’s technical & artistic background includes a long stint at renowned visual effects and commercial studio, Digital Domain.

From his beginnings with photography, to creating some of the games industry’s first 3D cinematic sequences, to then directing commercials for such brands such as; Gatorade, EA Sports, Disney, Ericsson and Michelin. Cris Blyth’s new fixation is mentoring a talented grip of young Kenyans who are defining what’s next in urban media.  He also collects camera lenses like a chic collects shoes.

Fred Kirui

Fred has been in the Media and publishing industry serving in various capacities in two of Kenya’s largest media houses Nation Media Group and Standard Group Limited. He has built his career in the advertising industry specializing initially with newspaper advertising then he expanded his scope to include Broadcast – Electronic and Digital media. Throughout his 9 year career with both Nation Media Group and Standard Group Limited, Fred has built a reputation for developing customized business proposals and maintaining sound business relationships with clients both direct advertisers and the advertising agencies.

Fred is always seeking to acquaint himself with new skills in the media & advertising industry and he has taken a keen interest in the new age content industry both for electronic media and digital media.

Fred currently serves as the Business Development ninja at WGS, developing key partnerships with agency and brands. Fred is also instrumental in ensuring that our clients receive the best in class service and that our content strategies help achieve client business objectives.

Mitchell Aguko

From a humble Background in Music and Sound Engineering, Mitchel describes himself as an advent Supporter and Lover of the Creative Arts with a keen interest on building products and services that are both Entertaining and Engaging to users especially the Pan African Audiences. With his experience of being an in-house producer, to working as a Head of Content in a Digital Payments and Content Company, to his recent dealings with both Local and International clients from different respects in a Mobile VOD and OTT media conglomerate for emerging markets, Mitchel is well versed in Content Programming & Curation techniques, Data Analytics, UI/UX, a captain for teamwork and a passion to take Africa to the next level in context to Digital Media…..Oh..and he loves Food too!! J
